Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k – have fun and raise funds on our 5k muddy obstacle course
Race for Life Pretty Muddy is a brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course where you can show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink. You must be over 13 years old to take part in this event.
Bring a change of clothes for after your event and a towel to wipe off the worst of the mud after your fight and remember there are no showers or lockers at Pretty Muddy events, but there will be a bag drop area.
You and your friends can also join the fight by volunteering. Our events can’t take place without the hundreds of people who give up their time.
Venue: The Common, The Avenue, Southampton, SO15 7NN

Adult entry (16+ women-only) – £14.99
Child entry (13-15 girls) – £10.00
Under 13 entry – due to the nature of this event, you must be 13 or over to take part
This covers the cost of organising and running your event on the day. It does not contribute towards your sponsorship total, so please try and raise as much as you can to help Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.
The Course: The Pretty Muddy Southampton route takes you along the tree lined paths of The Common.The surface is flat and on tarmac throughout so you can enjoy the fantastic obstacles without worrying about any hills coming your way.
Meeting point: The meeting point is Southampton Common, opposite the playground.
On the day: Don’t forget to invite your friends and family to support you on the day. There will be catering concessions available
