A reminder for University of Southampton students, landlords and members of the local community! Extra Waste Collection for End of Year / Move Out

The University of Southampton end of year extra collection of general waste bins from student accommodation in roads in Portswood and Highfield takes place this Saturday 29 June!

For students who live in private-rented student accommodation, all you need to do is leave your general waste bin out on the night of Friday 28 June for collection the following day on Saturday 29.

SUSU and the University have been encouraging charitable donations and food bank donations throughout June to help reduce the additional waste that is generated at end of year when students move out of their accommodation.

Collection points have also been set up in halls of residence for unwanted items through the Recycling on your Doorstep scheme.
