The Friends of Southampton Old Cemetery is a voluntary group of enthusiasts interested in history, wildlife and maintenance of the Old Cemetery. They also research the history and assist visitors to locate family graves. They also hold stocks of various publications.

Come along to the info desk at The Hawthorns Centre on Southampton Common between 10am – 1pm to meet some of the team and let them answer your questions, find information about graves in the Old Cemetery.
For a donation to FoSOC, they can offer to find the grave for you. Although there is not always a headstone or memorial to be found, they can at least identify the plot.
