Following the success of the last 3 Poetry@JHG events John Hansard Gallery is pleased to open its doors again to the poetry and spoken word community. 5 Poets will present work on the theme of Materials Place and Architecture. This Poetry@JHG theme is in response to the exhibition An Intervention on from 12 May – 27 June 2015.

The event is intended to be a platform for poets to develop and present work within a different creative environment and encourage ties between two artistic fields.

There will also be a talk by guest speaker Dr Will May, Senior lecturer and co-ordinator for all MA English programmes at University of Southampton.
