“A huge thank you to Dr Hugh Hadfield and his talented group of musicians, ‘Second Wind’ for a lovely recital at Portswood Residents’ Gardens Pavilion yesterday. It was a completely full house! Thank you so much to everyone who supported the event – we’re delighted to say that donations from the retiring collection raised more than £1,200!
Prof Andrew Lotery was pleased to be given the opportunity to share updates on University of Southampton eye research during the interval.
Thank you also to Highfield Residents’ Association for promoting the event, and to all the volunteers who made this event happen – especially the impressive homemade cakes, which truly were delicious!”
